Our rum is born in the Caribbean and crafted in Edinburgh.
Hina is a 100% fair-trade certified rum distilled with Guyanese organic molasses and aged in ex-bourbon casks for 12 months in the south American warmth.
At the Old Poison Distillery we redistill it with a selection of specially selected botanicals, which intensifies its natural characteristics.
For the last step we let it rest in our Amaro cask for an another extra month.
The final results are a truly unique, bursting with complex flavours.

Tasting Notes:
Nose
Tropical fruit, burnt caramel, hints of chocolate and spice.
Palate
Balanced and full, spicy ginger sings, tropical fruits of banana, citrus and mango are joined by darker fruit.
The taste profile leads to cacao nibs, dark bitter chocolate, coffee and rich sweet caramel.
Finish
Every sip brings a bit of sunshine, a great finish of woody oak, roasted coffee and spice
Perfect Serve:
Serve in a Cube Libre.
In a highball glass over ice pour 50ml of rum, a squeeze of half a fresh lime and top with ice cold cola.
Garnish with a wedge of fresh lime.
