Edinburgh Vermouth Rosso:
Our Edinburgh Vermouth Rosso is made by infusing herbs and botanicals with authentic Trebbiano d’ Abruzzo DOC, an Italian white wine.
Our Rosso expression is a bright and complex aperitif, with a zesty notes from the oranges of the Amalfi coast , meeting perfectly balanced bitterness from wormwood and followed by the aroma of Italian herbs.
This is a real Italian style Vermouth.
Try it served over ice with orange peel, or as as an ingredient for your favourite classic cocktails.
Tasting Notes:
Nose
Zesty sticky citrus from Amalfi oranges married with strong herbacious notes
Palate
Sweet citrus, Italian herbs, with an underlying pleasant bitterness from Wormwood
Finish
Deeply complex and well balanced the spirit finishes with cinnamon spice and intense rich dark cherry.
Perfect Serve:
Perfect in a Spritz.
Fill a glass with plenty of ice, add 60ml of Edinburgh Vermouth Rosso and top with Soda Water, garnish with a slice of freshly cut orange.
