HYKE Gin Very Special:
HYKE Gin Very Special is made using English-grown wine grapes that are usually just discarded after pressing. More than just repurposing this wonderful natural resource, we’re completely reimagining it using our innovative three-stage process, which we pioneered back in 2016. Our aim is to use up as much of this natural by-product as possible.
HYKE Gin Very Special is a London Dry Gin made in England using a sustainably sourced grape spirit distilled from English-grown wine grapes. It has a luxurious texture and a rich complexity lent by the grape spirit and our blend of 19 botanicals including, Juniper, Coriander Seed, Angelica Root, Orris Root, Liquorice Root, Black Pepper, Cubeb, Ginger, Dried Lemon Peel, Sambrani, Earl Grey, Lapsang Souchong, Red Sandalwood, Angelica Seed, Grapefruit Peel, Lemon Peel, Lavender, Chamomile and Timur Pepper
As a final transformative touch a tiny drop of our very own brandy (aged specially for this purpose) is added to every bottle, this helps bring the layers of flavours together in perfect balance.
Tasting Notes:
Nose
Woody earthy juniper and angelica lead to notes of bright citrus and floral aromatics.
Palate
Juniper led, rich full bodied and well refined, a complex and concentrated gin with dark fruit notes and bright citrus, leading into woody florals and aromatic flavours which are finely balanced with warming ginger spice
Finish
A smooth velvet textured mouthfeel with a lingering pepper and spice finish.

When only the best will do, enjoy a HYKE Gin Very Special G&T with a gorgeous garnish of lemon and sage.
Lemon lifts the sweet citrus botanicals, whilst sage emphasises the savoury complexities from the grape spirit and earthy botanicals.
Pour 50ml of HYKE Gin Very Special over ice and top up with Premium tonic water, garnish with a sage leaf and lemon zest.
