Ron Piet:

‘Born in Panama, raised in Hamburg’.

XO is a special designation and stands for extra old.

Ron Piet was once the faithful parrot of a notorious pirate. Together they were considered the “horror of the seas”. One fateful day their ship was attacked by other pirates and the whole crew and all the cargo sank to the bottom of the sea, with the ship becoming a shipwreck.

After the tragic shipwreck, all that survived was Ron Piet clinging to a single barrel of rum engraved ‘Ron 10 Anos Panama’ which washed up into Hamburg.

The journey of every single bottle of RON PIET begins on a sugar cane plantation in southern Panama. Until it finds its well-deserved place in your in-house bar, it goes through a strictly controlled manufacturing process in our production facility in San Miguelito, which gives it its incomparable, fruity-smooth note.

A small-batch, premium rum aged for 10 years in oak bourbon barrels.
