Nadar Gin:
Our revolutionary climate positive gin is called Nàdar - Gaelic for ’Nature’.
Nàdar is made using a base spirit distilled from peas, which need no nitrogen fertiliser unlike traditional crops used for creating spirit. In addition, peas benefit the ecosystem as a whole by improving soil quality and offsetting synthetic nitrogen fertiliser requirements of other crops that follow peas in the crop rotation.
Nàdar Gin harnesses the power of nature and science to create this world first spirit with a carbon footprint of -1.54 kg CO2e per 700ml bottle.
Making this spirit at the forefront of fighting climate change and biodiversity loss, the biggest challenges humankind has ever faced.
Tasting Notes:
Nose
Woody pine melds with fresh aromatics, fresh citrus, notes of cut grass and hints of spice.
Palate
Smooth, silky and refreshing Fragrant and refreshing, with lemongrass leading into sticky, zesty lime and resinous woody piney juniper.
Finish
The finish leads with juniper and citrus, is bright, clean and fresh.
Perfect Serve:
Serve in a highball glass with plenty of ice, a light Tonic Water and a slice of fresh ginger to garnish
