AKs Gin
AKs Gin:
AK’s Gin is distilled using wheat farmed on the Arbikie Estate.
It is then flavoured with unique botanicals including fresh honey, black pepper, mace and smoked cardamom.
The botanicals grow in fields just a stones-throw away from our distillery and the honey originates from nearby bees that forage the local area. AK’s Gin is a wonderful tribute to the Arbikie Distillery owner’s father, Mr. Alexander Kirkwood Stirling, who raised the boys and built the estate to what it is today. So we created a Gin that he could enjoy and see his name on it.
It is the creation of our own spirit that sets us apart. As a field to bottle operation, we grow, distil and bottle on our farm.
Tasting Notes:
Nose
Butterscotch, honey, vanilla, creme brulee
Palate
Warm, spicy background, sweet honey notes, caramel.
Finish
Oily resinous pine of juniper and cracked pepper on a pleasingly warm finish.
Perfect Serve:
Serve over ice with a premium Indian Tonic Water, garnished with a sprig of thyme and a citrus curl
