Brentingby Barrel Aged Gin:

A barrel-aged edition of the award-winning Brentingby gin.

Aged in used, handmade, Tennessee oak, slightly toasted whiskey barrels.

This unique expression is only produced a handful of times each year.

Tasting Notes:

Nose

Delightfully Aromatic, smooth with a woody hint and fruity undertone before the flavour launches into a mingling of caramel and vanilla.

Juniper led, with a complex depth and sweetness of butterscotch

Palate

Beautiful, smooth vanilla and caramel notes with lingering spice, over tones of pine from the juniper and fruiting woody notes from the oak.

Finish

Buttery vanilla and caramel with pine and zesty orange notes and with lingering spice.

Perfect Serve:

Try Barrel Aged in a Gin Old Fashioned, stir 60ml of gin, 7ml of simple syrup and a couple of dashes of orange bitters over ice, garnish with fresh fig.

This is distinctly a proper gin using Brentingby's gins London Dry as its base.

Barrel Aged has complex layers, pine resin, a slight sweetness of honied wood, rich fruits, butterscotch and a big hit of vanilla on a smooth long lasting finish.
